Hi, I’m Abbi – founder of Studio6. I launched Studio6 in 2020 with the goal of redefining fitness for women. After more than 10 years as a coach, my vision was to create a space where women could transform their relationship with themselves through a holistic approach – mind, body, and soul. Today, with a team of six incredible coaches, we bring that vision to life every day at our main site in Washington.

My role now focuses on ensuring Studio6 pushes industry standards and continues to build the best team in fitness. I spend much of my time running the business, connecting with mentors, and investing in the growth and development of my team to make sure we’re always evolving and leading the way.

That said, I still occasionally return to my first love – coaching – when the opportunity allows. Supporting women in becoming the strongest versions of themselves will always be at the heart of what I do.

At Studio6, we’re not just a gym – we’re a community committed to empowering women in every sense, and I’m proud to stand at the forefront of that mission.

Hi I’m Kate R!

Since studying Sport and Exercise Science at college, I’ve always been fascinated by the human body – how it moves and how that translates into training and performance.

Going through my own training journey and working with a coach made me realise where my true passion lies. I wanted to help people build the confidence to train, get as strong as possible, and enjoy the process along the way.

Since joining Studio6, I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of women and have been given so many opportunities to grow and develop into the coach I am today. Through my experience in the fitness industry, I’ve noticed a significant gap in knowledge when it comes to training women in pre and postnatal stages.

I’m passionate about raising awareness around the importance of training during pregnancy and supporting women through postnatal rehab. I’m excited to keep learning, evolving, and helping more women feel empowered in their bodies!

Hi, I’m Jill! I’ve been coaching at Studio6 for over two years, and every day I’m driven by a passion to help women overcome internal battles and become the best version of themselves. One of my biggest missions is breaking the stigma around menopause.

As a 45-year-old perimenopausal woman, navigating this chapter of life has given me a deeper purpose – to educate and empower other women to embrace menopause not as something negative, but as a natural, transformative part of life. It’s all about reframing the narrative.

When I’m not coaching on the gym floor, you’ll probably catch me clocking miles with the run club or planning our next hiking adventure!

With over 8 years in the health and fitness industry, my journey has shown me the importance of supporting women’s mental health and encouraging them to see their worth. I truly believe that strength comes from both the mind and body.

Studio6 gives me the space to live out this passion every day, and I’m grateful to be part of a community that uplifts and empowers women to feel stronger – inside and out.

Aimee Gourley

QUALIFICATION

Hi, I’m Aimee!

I first coached at Studio6 back in 2022 and was formative in creating what we now know as the Studio6 Method. Since then, I’ve continued to grow with the team and bring my passion for helping women change their lives through fitness and mindset every single day.

I’m a qualified meditation teacher and currently completing a counselling qualification, which allows me to support women beyond just the physical side of fitness.

My approach is always evidence based and built around our three core pillars at Studio6: relationship with food, body image, and identity and behaviour change.I also spent two years coaching in Australia at a female only gym, an experience that gave me a real depth of knowledge and a global perspective on women’s health and fitness. Alongside my coaching, I hold a degree in Sport and Exercise Science, which underpins everything I do with an evidence based lens.When I’m not on the gym floor, you’ll probably find me by the beach with a great coffee in hand.

Studio6 gives me the space to live out this passion every day, and I’m so grateful to be part of a community that empowers women to feel stronger, both inside and out.
