Getting back into exercise after having a baby isn’t always simple or easy and it shouldn’t be rushed.
Your body has been through a huge transformation, and we know there’s a serious lack of support out there to help women feel safe and confident about returning to movement. That’s why this assessment isn’t about “bouncing back” or chasing a pre baby body. It’s about proper rehabilitation, rebuilding strength, and giving you the care you deserve.
Kate is a fully qualified pre and postnatal coach who has worked with hundreds of women. She also works closely with her mentor Collette Pryor, a dedicated specialist in Northumberland, to make sure her approach is always evolving and evidence based.
In your 60 minute postnatal assessment, Kate will go deeper than surface level questions. Together you’ll explore the changes your body has experienced during and after birth, what’s happening for you right now, and how best to support your recovery.
Following the assessment, you’ll receive a personalised return to exercise plan designed to help you rebuild safely, confidently, and realistically. And if you’d like to keep working with us, you can also join our postnatal specific sessions, where you’ll continue progressing with ongoing guidance and support.

(We recommend waiting six weeks after a vaginal birth and between 8 to 12 weeks after a C section before returning to exercise. If you’d like to discuss this in more detail, Kate will cover it fully in your assessment. You may want to wait until these milestones before booking.)
